Das Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung (LDBV) mit Sitz in München ist zentraler Ansprechpartner für den gesamten Bereich der amtlichen Vermessung in Bayern.
Das LDBV erfasst die Geobasisdaten, beschreibt sie in Informationssystemen und stellt sie in Karten dar. Einheitlichkeit, Flächendeckung und hohe Aktualität für ganz Bayern sind die herausragenden Qualitätsmerkmale. Zudem gehören der Breitbandausbau und die Digitalisierung von Daten, Prozessen und Infrastrukturen, etwa von Behördennetzen, in den Zuständigkeitsbereich des LDBV.
Das LDBV ist zugleich Aufsichtsbehörde über 51 Ämter für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung, die in Bayern für die Grundstücksvermessungen sowie den Ausbau des schnellen Internets zuständig sind.

The State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying (LDBV) based in Munich is the central point of contact for the entire field of official surveying in Bavaria.
The LDBV collects the geographic reference data, describes them in information systems and displays them in maps. Uniformity, coverage and topicality for the whole of Bavaria are the outstanding quality features. In addition, broadband deployment and the digitization of data, processes and infrastructures, such as governmental networks, belong to the area of responsibility of the LDBV.
The LDBV is also the supervisory authority for 51 offices for digitization, broadband and surveying, which are responsible in Bavaria for land surveying and the expansion of the fast Internet.
