The sundial is pedestal mounted and located at the centre of the Yew Hedge Maze in Weston Park. It is set on a stone column with rectangular carved design on each side. The the dial is a square brass plate screwed on the column. It is inscribed with roman numerals and lines that can be clearly seen, however the gnomon is broken, only the base plate remains.
The Yew Hedge Maze, can be found in the Southern Walled Garden at Weston Park. The garden was restored by the Weston Park Foundation in 2005 and as well as the maze is now to home to heritage varieties of apple trees and a sensory garden. (

The maze that measures 1296 square meters was begun in 2005 and completed in 2006. 1,400 Yew Trees were planted by three gardeners and two members of the park maintanance team. The total length of the hedge for the maze measures 700 meters and 60 tons of woodchip were used to cover the pathways.
It should take approximately 5-10 mins (unless you get lost!) to reach the centre where there is a stone column with a sundial on the top.
