This is a great experience for the holidaymakers that stay at the Big 4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park. Though it is available to casual visitors as well.

This wooden boardwalk follows the tidal rivers edge for about 100 metres, before dipping down into the mangrove flats. [Pretty to close to a challenging geocache.]
As there is no safety edge to the boardwalk, and quite a few of the boards have lifted, or the replacement boards are of a different thickness, this not suitable for wheels. It is only about 850 mm wide, so not suitable for turning even a stroller around on. Even the start of the boardwalk goes over a large concrete block, as part of the retaining wall, with gaps that would catch smaller wheels.
