This beautiful Vicgtorial Gingerbread home stands outside of Chireno on 217 Southeast Chireno Loop, a short distance off of the Texas State Highway 21.
A state historic marker at the home reads as follows:
"GINGERBREAD HOUSE
Built about 1895. Victorian architecture. Heart pine and other fine materials used, including brass hardware.
Many porches; carved skirt, fascia and cornice boards. Other ornate trim details.
Restored by the C. V. Lindseys.
Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1965"
