Beneath the S Main St bridge in downtown Greenville, SC, the walking path along the Reedy River has many historical sights and sites. This millstone is part of the landscaping.

With no descriptive information plate to give the history of the stone, one must wonder was the stone part of a pair in a mill along Reedy River or some other grist mill. The grooving of the stone is still evident.
