The Windellama Historical Society Inc. stated in the local newsletter (pdf) (visit link) that in part:

" The St Bartholomew’s cemetery was classified by the National Trust of NSW as part of our local heritage. Over the last few years I have carried out a good deal of research into the burials at the cemetery. So far I have listed about 240 burials in the cemetery while only about 130 have headstones. In 1954 Matilda Mary Cartwright, daughter of Thomas and Susan Cartwright died and was buried on the Cartwright property. Her burial started the present cemetery. The foundation stone for the church was laid on 27th October 1859".

The graves & the churchyard are well tended.
