There are 2 state historical markers here: (1) the 1936 granite monument and (2) the round RTHL medallion over the entrance to this historic nineteenth century church building.

Memorial Presbyterian Church is located at the northwest corner of Livingston and Congress Streets, and is impossible to miss. Stretching across the downsloping front yard of the church property is a long rock garden made of letters proclaiming the church's history as the oldest Presbyterian Church in Texas.
