In December 2017, the "cult restaurant" Veddeler Fischgaststätte on the Elbe island Veddel in Hamburg, opened in 1932, celebrated its 85th anniversary as the oldest fish restaurant in Hamburg.
The restaurant is unchanged in its originality. The outward appearance, the interior design in the 50s-style and the unique regional food with Hamburg's smallest menu in quality and quantity are popular and known to all guests.
In addition to the actual specialty baked fish with potato salad, the whole thing can also be ordered with chips.
