EN: This transformer tower stands on a side street north of the monastery square in Mariastein.
The square tower has three floors and a fairly flat pyramid roof. The building is rather unadorned and does not seem to belong to the very old towers of the first generations, but it is not dated.
Below the roof there are still some insulators, on the east side even with overhead lines.
DE: Dieser Transformatorenturm steht an einer Seitenstrasse nördlich des Klosterplatzes in Mariastein.
Der quadratische Turm hat drei Stockwerke und ein ziemlich flaches Pyramidendach. Das Gebäude ist ziemlich schmucklos und scheint nicht zu den ganz alten Türmen der ersten Generationen zu gehören, es ist aber nicht datiert.
Im Obergeschoss befinden sich noch einige Isolatoren, an der Ostseite sogar noch mit Freileitungen.
