From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Edgington Road, FR1505, and travel about 1.2 miles. Turn right, continuing on Edgington Road, and proceed 0.9 miles. Bear right, still on Edgington Road, and continue about 0.2 miles to a cattle guard. The present corner bears W, about 4310' from the centerline of Edgington Road.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe, rising 4" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The present corner is located at the T-junction of two fences. An E-W fence, barbed wire to the E and plain wire W, meets a 6x6" wire mesh fence which extends to the N. The leg extending E is in disrepair, but the other legs appear to be recent. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal on a Carsonite post which bears E, 53" distant. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.

What property is this mark defining?:
private property N from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; also see Oregon Corner Restoration Record #0258, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
