LLE stands from Loulé, the local municipality which created and keeps these hiking trails. PR stands for "Pequena Rota", meaning Short Route.
This is a 12 km walking loop, which is at its best in the Spring months, when flowers blossom, temperatures are pleasant and green is dominant. It starts near the village of Ameixial, which can be a good base (restaurants, restrooms, etc).
Amongst the highlights of the route is a traditional house, an abandoned primary school, a creek, an ancient spring and even a pre-historic site.
