FR Créé en 1518 pour indigents au nord de la ville, à l’initiative du Consul Jacques de la Roque, l'hôpital a pris le nom de « Hôpital Saint-Jacques » ou « Hôtel Dieu » en 1731 (on le voit sur son ancienne entrée) puis en 1961 a commencé à prendre son essor pour devenir aussi grand qu'une petite ville et fusionner (2012) avec le Centre Hospitalier de Pertuis afin de devenir le Centre hospitalier du Pays d’Aix – Centre hospitalier intercommunal Aix-Pertuis. Aujourd'hui (2017) :

* 2 964 agents médicaux et non médicaux
