EN: The transformer substation of Lausen is located near the former paper mill on the eastern edge of the village.
The tower has a square floor plan and a curved pyramid roof. Above the entrance on the south side is a metal-covered canopy. On the south side there are windows on the first floor and a large ventilation grille in the second floor. The back has three ventilation slots in the base.
The station is not dated, but probably dates from the years 1916-17. It is still in operation and even has a few overhead lines.
DE: Die Transformatoren-Station von Lausen befindet sich bei der ehemaligen Papiermühle am östliche Dorfrand.
Der Turm hat einen quadratischen Grundriss und ein geschweiftes Pyramidendach. Über dem Eingang an der Südseite befindet sich ein metallgedecktes Vordach. An der Südseite befinden sich Fenster im ersten Stock und im zweiten ein grosses Belüftungsgitter. Die Rückseite hat drei Belüftungsschlitze im Sockel.
Die Staion ist selbst nicht datiert, stammt aber vermutlich aus den Jahren 1916-17. Sie ist noch in Betrieb und verfügt sogar noch über ein paar Freileitungen.
