Texas Historic Site Atlas

While built at the very beginning of the present century, the Van Pelt House reflects more late Victorian stylistic traditions, and is a good West Texas manifestation of the Queen Anne style.

The exterior of the house is a classic example of Queen Anne architecture (the very correct classical veranda was not added until a decade later).
