Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N88.4°E from T15S R10E S15 SE 1/16 COR, 1313' distant.

Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The present sixteenth corner bears W, 8" from a 6x6" wire mesh fence which extends N-S. There are two proximate U-posts. One, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears W, 37" distant. The other, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears S, 35" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LOCATION POSTER signs. There is also a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside of the pine in the NW quadrant. What property is this mark defining?: Deschutes National Forest land SW from the sixteenth corner, else private property; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Dependent Resurvey of a Portion of the Subdivisional Lines, and the Subdivision of Section 15, Township 15 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed July 16, 1969
