At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 1.1 miles. Park and hike generally ENE along the Cloverdale Ditch for about 0.4 mile to the quarter corner on the left.

Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 5" in a mound of stones What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The present quarter corner bears N about 1950' from the centerline of the Cloverdale Ditch. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 36" distant. In addition, there is a wood lath witness stake at the quarter corner. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. There is also a LOCATION POSTER on the pine in the NW quadrant.
