"Avenue Lounge (next to Italian Village). They officially opened Monday and are planning a grand opening in the near future. “I think we have one of the nicest spots in town and plenty of room,” Doyle said. “I always enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and there never seemed to be any drama here. I just wanted to get opened and work out the other little details.” The bar, which was formerly known as First Avenue Pub, has gotten a total makeover. They spent the past five months putting in a new floor, a new ceiling and even the walls have been redone with new drywall.
