Siden 1801 har kirketårnet ved Tunø Kirke også fungeret some fyrtårn.
Kirken blev bygget omkring år 1300 på en 17 meter høj bakke.
Tårnet blev forhøjet med 6 meter i 1801, da fyrtårnet blev bygget og i 1906 med yderligere 7 meter. Fyrtårner er stadig i brug.
Since 1801 the church tower of Tunø Church has also worked as a lighthouse. The churcj was originally built around year 1300 on a 17 meter high hill. The tower was raised with 6 meter in 1801 when the lighthouse was established and with futher 7 meters in 1906. The lighthouse is still in use.
