Honoré de Balzac cited the church of the Holy Trinity in his novel of 1836 "The Lily in the Valley: "Here is the village of Pont-de-Ruan, a pretty village surmounted by an old church full of character, a church from the time of the Crusades, and as painters seek for their paintings".
The bell tower dates from 1860.
In this pinion we see 16 holes of a dovecote located above the heart.
The dovecote is original in its situation. He seems deserted by his birds; not a pigeon!
