This rendered, and curved wall, has a metal plaque screwed to it, to commemorate the 'Crossing of the Blue Mountains' by Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson, on 28th May, 1813.

The light pink coloured, curved wall stands about 2.0 metres high, and is at the northeastern side of Mount York Lookout area. It looks like there had been three narrow rectangular plaques at the top of the wall, but they have been removed. [Probably one for each of the explorers.]
Below the "1813" year, there is a dark brown plaque, which reads:
This Monument was erected to Commemorate
the Crossing of the Blue Mountains by
Gregory Blaxland, William Charles Wentworth, Lieut. Lawson
who with convict labour reached this point on the
28th May, 1813
