"This park is a tribute to the truckers of the 1960s who stopped at Clyde and Elaine Richardson's truck stop, the Koffee Kup Cafe on Monterey Road, when the road was the old Highway 101. The cafe was located near Metclaf Road. The Richardsons served 10 cent coffee and a good meal, and were frequented by the locals and faithful; tuckers who hauled produces from the Santa Clara Valley with its vast orchards and growing fields when it was known as the Valley of the Hearts Delight. The Koffee Kup was popular and one of the few truck stops along that part of the highway."
Location: Elaine Richardson Park
