The, approximately 3000 hectare large, Jasmund National Park is located on the peninsula Jasmund in the northeast of the island of Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and exists since 12 September 1990. He is Germany's smallest national park. The 2012 published stamp to 55 Eurocent shows a chalk cliff on the Kiel shore, Rügen Island.
