Pecos Park is a large multi purpose park in the southeast corner of Phoenix. Among the many amenities is a community and senior citizens center. From the park website, "The Pecos Community Center, located in the city park of the same name, boasts more than 38,000 square feet of space and a wide range of sports and general interest classes and programs. Pecos Park is a large regional park that features a skate park, swimming pool, dog park and several athletic fields. Pecos Community Center has a full-size gymnasium with open basketball and volleyball, and a fitness room with aerobic, weights and resistance machines (memberships are $50 for one year, $30 for six months or $3 per day); a dance room, game room with air hockey, pool table, foosball and large-screen television, classrooms and multi-purpose rooms, available for rent. The center also houses a Phoenix Police Department substation.
