The North Street Chip Shop is situated, as stated, in North Street, Forfar. It occupies a corner site at the junction with Roberts Street and is distinctive with its blue signage.
Apart from being open from 4pm to 9pm Monday to Friday, it is also open at lunchtime on those days from 11.45am to 1.45pm. On Saturdays it is open from 4pm to 7.30pm. It is closed on Sundays.
An extensive menu also features a children's meals and there are gluten free fish & chips available from 12pm to 2pm on the last Saturday of each month. It is one of the few chip shops in the UK with certified sustainable seafood.
North Street can be found running northwards from the town's East Port (the eastern end of East High Street). The shop is halfway along the lengthy street on the right hand side at a crossroads.
