FN0347 (X 28) at the Santa Fe Train Depot - Santa Fe, NM - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is set in the northwest side of a beautifully preserved Santa Fe Railroad train depot. The disk is dated 1933, stamped X 28 and also states the altitude: 6969.569 feet above sea level. The disk was once painted over and cleaned, which makes it very easy to read.

There is public parking on the southeast side of the depot and throughout the historic district of Santa Fe, which is filled with museums, shopping, restaurants, and other attractions - some of which are waymarks!
