At the intersection of 9th Street and Texas Avenue is an area known as Woodward Centennial Park. On the brick wall are many granite plaques with historical maps, and plaques commemorating those who died during War, and those who lost their lives in the Tornado of 1947.

Two of the pink granite plaques give a timeline of the City of Woodward. They read:
