Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N88.6°E from T15S R10E S15 C-E-NW 1/64 COR, 653' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 2" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The present sixteenth corner bears SE, 8" from a SE fence corner post. There are two proximate U-posts. One, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears W, 38" distant. The other, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears E, 37" from the corner. Found one ponderosa pine with a partly healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside.
What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land S from the corner, else private property; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Dependent Resurvey of a Portion of the Subdivisional Lines, and the Subdivision of Section 15, Township 15 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed July 16, 1969
