The Mutual, OK post office is a small brick building located at 157 N. Broadway. A post office was first established in Mutual on June 4, 1895. The town was incorporated in 1908 and reached its peak in population of 264 in 1910. It is an agricultural town, with livestock and grain primary, with some gas production. It is located off Highway 270, about 19 miles southeast of Woodward.
The post office has counter hours Mon-Fri from 7:30-11:30am and on Saturday from 7:30-9:30am. The lobby and post office boxes are open 24/7
