FR Le Colorado provençal ou ocres de Rustrel est un site semi-naturel, puisqu'il fut exploité depuis la fin du xviie siècle jusqu'en 1992 où le dernier ocrier prit sa retraite. Le site est situé sur la commune de Rustrel dans le département de Vaucluse et la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Les paysages insolites qu'il offre sont constitués de sable ocreux d'origine latéritique.
EN The Provencal Colorado or Rustrel ocher is a semi-natural site, since it was operated since the end of the seventeenth century until 1992 when the last ocler retired. The site is located in the municipality of Rustrel in the department of Vaucluse and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The unusual landscapes that it offers consist of ocher sand of lateritic origin.
