On the southeast corner of 3rd and Main, this memorial was placed by VFW Post 9524. It consists of a six ft. high tan brick wall, running about 16 ft. in both directions from the northwest corner of the area. Embedded in the wall are dark bricks engraved with the names of veterans and their branch of service and wars fought in. Stone benches run along in front of the walls. At the corner is a bronze Battlefield Cross (rifles and helmet). On the mural-painted wall behind the park are additional brick walls and memorial bricks.
On the wall are bronze plaques showing the seals of the 5 branches of service, and another reading: "In honor of all U.S. military personnel past, present and future, whose service in defending the free world is greatly treasured."
A granite plaque reads: "Veterans Memorial Park / 1995-1996 / Seiling VFW Post 9524 / Committee Members / (12 names)". Another granite plaque records words from President Woodrow Wilson's Flag Day message in 1917.
On the east side of the area two pieces of military artillery are displayed, as well as the anchor from the third battleship "Alexander Hamilton" which was removed from service in 1993.
