Dejvická Street begin from Pod kaštany Street and leads west and northwest to Vítezné námestí.

Dejvicka was originally divided two separate roads: Na hutích Street (from today's Vítezné námestí to Jaselská) and Havlíckova Street (from Jaselská to Pod kaštany Street). These two streets were united in 1925.

Dnešní Dejvickou tvorily puvodne dve samostatné komunikace: Na hutích (od dnešního Vítezného námestí k Jaselské) a Havlíckova (od Jaselské k ulici Pod kaštany). Tyto dve ulice byly spojeny v roce 1925 a zároven k nim byla pripojena cást dnešní Evropské. Takto vzniklá komunikace byla pojmenována Dejvická. V roce 1932 byl úsek od Vítezného námestí k Borislavce oddelen.
