From the 19th century until 1940 and from 1945 it was called Belcredi's Street. During the nazi occupation was called Letenská (German: Sommerbergstraße), since June 1947 King George VI. and then throughout the period of socialism until 1990 to the Peacekeepers.

Milady Horákové je ulice na hranici pražských Hradcan, Strešovic, Dejvic, Bubence a Holešovic, procházející západovýchodním smerem mezi ulicí Patockovou, pres Letenské námestí na Strossmayerovo námestí z Letné do Holešovic. V roce 1990 byla pojmenována po Milade Horákové popravené v 50. letech. V ulici je vedena dvoukolejná tramvajová trat Strossmayerovo námestí - Hradcanská - Malovanka pražské MHD.

Od 19. století do roku 1940 a od roku 1945 se nazývala Belcrediho trída. Za okupace se jmenovala Letenská (nemecky: Sommerbergstraße), od cervna roku 1947 Krále Jirího VI. a poté po celé období socialismu až do roku 1990 Obráncu míru.
