Die Vitter Kapelle liegt oberhalb des gleichnamigen Fischerdorfes Vitt, rund ein Kilometer südöstlich von Putgarten, und gehört zur Kirchengemeinde Altenkirchen in der Propstei Stralsund des Pommerschen Evangelischen Kirchenkreises.
Die Kapelle ist für Touristen nur zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder der Arkonabahn Richtung Kap Arkona von Putgarten aus erreichbar.
Die Kapelle ist ein einfacher oktogonaler Bau mit weißgetünchten Wänden mit Reetdach. Früher war das Dach mit Holzschindeln gedeckt.

The Vitter Chapel is located above the fishing village of Vitt, about one kilometer southeast of Putgarten, and belongs to the parish of Altenkirchen in the provost of Stralsund Pomeranian Evangelical Church.
The chapel is accessible to tourists only on foot, by bicycle or the Arkonabahn towards Cape Arkona from Putgarten.
The chapel is a simple octagonal building with whitewashed walls with thatched roof. In the past, the roof was covered with wooden shingles.
