Brumfield Cemetery is a large cemetery that straddles County Road 2280. The west half is fairly complete, with newer graves being added on the east side of the road. The land is flat and completely treeless. Gravel drives bisect the cemetery in both directions.
The cemetery is well kept and surrounded by a chain link fence. It currently contains 2251 grave sites. It is the resting place of Amos Chapman, a well known U.S. Army Indian Scout who passed in 1925 and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
