At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 2.4 miles. Turn left onto FR4606-900, Peterson Ridge Road, and continue about 0.6 miles to the quarter corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 7" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The present quarter corner bears S, about 75' from the centerline of Peterson Ridge Road. Specifically, it is located in an E-W fence line. There are two proximate U-posts. One, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears E, 36" distant. The other, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears W, 36" from the corner. Found two western junipers and a ponderosa pine with partly healed blazes and the usual complement of metal signs. In addition, there is a wood lath witness stake.

Deschutes National Forest land N from the corner, else private property
