At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 2.4 miles. Turn left onto FR4606-900, Peterson Ridge Road, and continue about 0.4 miles to the sixteenth corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner bears S, about 60' from the centerline of Peterson Ridge Road. Specifically it is E, 1'6" from the N-S leg of a barbed wire fence, and S, 13'6" from the E-W leg. There are two U-posts with PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs. One bears E, 36" distant, the other S, the same distance from the corner. Found two western junipers with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
