It looks like the 'Exit' for the emergency vehicles is from 70 Violet Town Rd, while ingress for staff vehicles is at 68 Violet Town Road.

The 'main building' that houses the fire tankers is about 20 metres square, with high 'fibro' walls, and a curving corrugated iron roof line. It has two large roller doors that have 'Perspex' sections in the panels, that face the St Johns Memorial Park. There is parking behind it for the retained staff to leave their vehicles when called out.

Beside, is a rectangular building, with a low sloped roof, for training and rest. At the southwestern end of which is a wooden pole for the hanging and draining of used fire hoses.
