Roscoe Darks' tree stump marker is unique. It stands on four horizontal logs, with the top two smaller than the bottom two. A calla lily is engraved on the logs.
The tree stump is rather tall, and doesn't have the usual straight sides. It is slender at the middle, and at the top, two branches extend out to the sides. The inscription is detailed and is located on a smooth section giving the appearance of having been placed where the bark has been removed. It reads:
