Wetumka Cemetery is east of the town, on Memorial Drive. There are approximately 4547 burials here. The cemetery was established in 1901. In 1935-1936, the WPA constructed an 845 foot long stone wall across the front of the cemetery, with entrance pillars. They also constructed a native sand stone chapel, which is now being used as a maintenance facility.
The cemetery is flat, with a scattering of mature trees and is bisected in both directions by numerous paved drives.
