Oscar Peterson was a Canadian musical genius. He ranks as one of the world’s greatest jazz virtuosos, and continues to influence generations of musicians everywhere. A legend in his own time, he bequeathed a legacy of musical brilliance.
The statue of this jazz legend, created by Ruth Abernethy in 2010, is located just outside the National Arts Centre, where Peterson played many times throughout his long career.
