The grave of James and Jonathan Bagg is marked by a table stone held up by five pillars. On the top is engraved a a long inscription:

In Memory of
Mr. JAMES BAGG
aged 19 years
and of Mr. JONATHAN BAGG
aged 17 years
Sons of Mr. JAMES BAGG
late of Springfield deceased
And of Mrs. BATHSHEBA now wife
Of captain ASAPH LEAVITT
who were killed by Lightning
May 20, 1766
They were lovely & pleasant in life
And in their Death they were not divided
When unexpected Troubles rise
And lay us in the Dust
To Heaven we lift our Suppliant Eyes
And own thy Chastning just
Let us be weaned from all below
Let Hope our Grief dispel
Death will invite our Souls to go
Where are best Kindred dwell
