"This is the most exuberant commercial building in town. The building is decidedly Queen Anne in design with the second story tower, the asymmetrical design and bay windows. Much of the façade on this building is cast iron that was probably produced in nearby Galesburg." ~ NRHP Nomination Form

There is also a Marquee" style sign hanging on the front of the building. It says: HALL SHOPS and is not neon and fading fast.
