At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 2.4 miles. Turn left onto FR4606-900, Peterson Ridge Road, and continue about 1.1 mile to the reference monument on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
A PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post bears N, 14" distant. The true corner bears S, reported to be a 1/2" pipe about 8" below the road surface. Reference monument RM 2 is on private property, behind a 2x4" wire mesh fence. Found two ponderosa pines and two western junipers with partly healed blazes and the usual complement of metal signs. The pine in the SE quadrant is on fenced private property.

Deschutes National Forest land NW from the corner, else private property
