The large brass memorial tablet has the follow lengthy text:

BORN MAR. 24. 1753 – DIED FEB. 5. 1820
SON OF WILLIAM FARRANT ESQ. AND KATHERINE
GRD. DAUGHTER OF THE VEN. SAML WATTLEWORTH
VICAR-GENERAL AND ARCHDEACON OF MAN
ADMITTED MANX BAR 1777. APPOINTED HIGH
BAILIFF OF PEEL 1777. MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF
KEYS 1801-1820. FOR 25 YEARS CHURCHWARDEN
OF THIS PARISH. MARRIED MARGARET ELDER NIECE
AND EVENTUAL HEIRESS AT LAW OF CAPT. WILLIAM
CHRISTIAN OF BALLAMOAR AND EAST NAPPIN
WHO HAD DIED WITHOUT ISSUE.’
