"The first floor has a wood façade. The upper stories are brick with multiple windows on each side. The windows are accented at the top by a flat stone lintel. This building is one of the oldest still standing buildings in the district. The three story orange brick building has had many different tenants over the years and is still in use. Notes: Currently Stanton Ingersoll and the Odd Fellows Lodge. Odd Fellows started in Monmouth in 1875. This building also housed Company H of the Illinois National Guard." ~ NRHP Nomination Form
