L'historique centrale de Hourat à Laruns, construite au début du XXème siècle. C'est la dernière des 13 usines de la vallée. Ces usines exploitent en cascade l'énergie de l'eau stockée dans les différents barrages.
L'eau arrive à l'usine par des conduites visibles depuis la route.
Des turbines entrent en rotation par la force de l'eau et produisent ainsi de l'électricité qui alimente tout le Béarn.
L'usine se visite gratuitement l'été.
The central historic Hourat Laruns, built in the early twentieth century. It is the last of the 13 power sation in the valley. These power stations use the water energy stored in the various dams.
The water arrives at the power station by pipes visible from the road.
Turbines are rotated by the force of the water and thus produce electricity that supplies the whole Bearn.
The factory can visit for free during the summer.
