EN: The Oboussierhaus is located on the edge of the old town of Aarau, outside the former moat that was later filled.
The three-storey house with mansard roof was built in 1775 for the textile entrepreneur Oboussier. Some later additions were removed during a renovation in 1969, so that the house is again very close to its original state.
Today there are several doctor's offices in the house.
DE: Das Oboussierhaus befindet sich am Rand der Altstadt von Aarau, ausserhalb des ehemaligen Stadtgrabens der später aufgefüllt wurde.
Das dreistöckige Haus mit Mansarddach wurde 1775 für den Textilunternehmer Oboussier erbaut. Einige spätere Anbauten wurden bei einer Renovation 1969 wieder entfernt, so dass das Haus heute wieder sehr nahe an seinem Originalzustand ist.
Heute befinden sich in dem Haus verschiedene Arztpraxen.
