Founded 1816
Oakdale United Methodist Church
Oakdale United Methodist Church began a brush arbor meeting at the entrance to the mill village, built by the member of the community. After the Little Schoolhouse was built was built in the early 1880's, the church met there. In 1915, a church was built on the current site and in 1943, brick veneer was added."
