The village hall is next to the Historical Society and across from the Post Office and Firehouse.
This is a simple white building with two doors, one to the village clerk and the other to the village hall. There is a ramp up to the two doors. There are four windows on the front.
Otego Village was formed in 1892 because of a vote 71 yes, 67 no. The annual budget was 250 dollars. The first laws established a Hose and Fire Company. There has been a large fire in 1877. Twenty five lamps and poles were purchased and someone was hired to light them at 45 cents a night. In 1897 another vote was held and it was 109 yes, 43 no to keep the village.
