The tall, square church tower is a commanding presence in the centre of town, and is a sightseeing destination that should not be missed. After many fires, the tower acquired its current appearance in 1824, and was opened to the public in 2004 after large-scale reconstructions.

Kostelní vež dvakrát v historii znicil požár a tak její dnešní vzhled pochazí z poseldní prestavby v roce 1824. Hodinový stroj se 4 ciferníky je z roku 1864. Puvodne sloužila jako hlásnice a v byte s ochozem bydlel hlásný s celou rodinou. Je vysoká 37 m a za výhledem je potreba vystoupat 124 schodu.
